Meditation Facilitator Training (Level 1)
Certification: 50-hr Training (10 hrs. of LIVE online training with your cohort over 5 weeks; 40 practice hrs. on your own at your own pace)
Cost: $950
Level 1: Our Meditation Guide Training – Level 1 is designed for those looking to strengthen their foundational knowledge and skill set to lead meditations in their community, at work and beyond or to simply deepen their personal practice. In this immersion training, you will learn 2 of our signature, nature-infused meditations, ‘The Seed’ (affirmation-based meditation) and ‘Remember Your Root’ (Metta-meditation) as well as the sequencing tools needed to develop your own unique style and voice.
Level 2: Our Meditation Guide Training – Level 2 is for those meditation guides wanting to expand their offerings to include meditations that incorporate the additional elements of comprehensive breathwork and yoga nidra which are infused in Rooted’s 3 other signature classes.
What will I learn?
In the Level Meditation Facilitator Training, you will:
Learn the history of meditation and the various types of meditations practiced around the world
Understand the four capabilities of the mind and how meditation allows us to transcend them
Discover the scientific studies that show the effectiveness of meditation in brain health and combatting the aging of the mind (in one study they found that 65 year-old meditators had grey matter in their brains as if they were 25 years old! - pretty incredible!)
Gain the confidence to lead others and incorporate these practices into your business (great for life coaches, nutrition consultants, yoga practitioners, health care providers, etc. or pretty much any other business where you are leading others)
Develop your unique teaching style with a cohort of grounded, mindful beings to grow alongside
Cultivate your ability to lead corporate meditations, private clients re one-on-one sessions and group sessions
Learn the psychology behind making meditation a habit and the benefits from a consistent, daily practice
Deepen and solidify your personal meditation practice
Dive into the ways in which we can use meditation as a tool for collective healing and empathy with part of our session dedicated to mindful racial justice and social justice purposes

LIVE (online) weekly meditations with Rooted Co-Founders for 6 weeks following the training (Mondays at 7:30 pm Central)
