What is the schedule and hour requirements for the Level 1 Meditation certification?

Live attendance (on zoom) is required on the dates posted, after which 38 hours of facilitating meditations and attending meditations will be required in order to receive your meditation facilitator certification and participate in the Level 2 training. 

Am I required to attend all days of the LIVE portion of the training for Level 1?

We highly recommend attending as much of the LIVE portion as possible. It is very important that we hold space for one another during the immersive LIVE experience. If you have a conflict, please reach out to us and we will try to work with you on a revised schedule.

What can I do with my Meditation Guide Certification?

So many things as our hope is that you will share the practice of meditation with the world! Meditation practices can be incorporated in your current services, whether that be in the fitness space, healthcare industry, wellness arena, and beyond. This core training is meant to be expansive for you and your community.  

Do I have to be an experienced meditator in order to take Level 1?

In our experience, it is very helpful to have embarked on your own meditation journey prior to teaching others, however, if you are interested in Level 1, we will be sharing the foundation building blocks of a practice and it is expected that you will commit to the practice during our time together. I am not sure that I want to be a meditation instructor but I am interested in the training/certification, is this still for me?

Absolutely! Many people aim to receive the certification for their own personal growth and development with no plans to teach.

Does Rooted Beings offer scholarships?

Accessibility to this practice is important to us. For each cohort, we will offer full and partial scholarship opportunities. If the cost of this training is prohibitive, please contact us and we will work with you to explore whether there are remaining scholarships available in your cohort.
